Sorry for the very late reply, found this while searching for vegan tags.

I also found the movie quite compelling. However, I have had very negative and aggressive reactions when comparing factory farming to the holocaust like Speciesism does. Some people can't accept the idea that animal suffering might not be that different from human suffering.

Did the documentary make you change your views and lifestyle at all? I mean were/are you vegan or vegetarian? I'm interested in learning about what makes people take the jump.

I'd also recommend Earthlings, Vegucated and Food Matters if you haven't yet come across these.
