The juxtaposing of cold intellectual autofellatio with drunken hordes of sociability, alongside that poetic hagiography of Wagner has essentially earned this piece the title of The Birth of Tragedy. Unless I'm missing something, I'm not convinced that the conclusions he reached warranted the stream of woe-is-me anecdotes.
