The other day I mentioned to havires that one of my prized possessions was an original painting done by Larry Elmore, of Dungeons & Dragons and Dragonlance fame.

It's only a small piece that isn't very dynamic, but when I found that I could get it for $100, I had to grab it. Elmore wrote that he thought he had painted it for a card game, although I don't believe it was for MtG, even though it looks like a great Island card. I would love to find the card and possibly frame that with it (If anyone has a clue, let me know).

I told havires that I would share a picture of it, and it seemed a good opportunity for a post.
