BPA is in EVERYTHING. Why wouldn't it be in my garden hose? And if it is....is it bad for my veggies?
I know you asked this a while back, but I thought I'd still answer in case others come across it. A recent study by the CBC found that yes BPA is in your hose as is lead and other things. They don't specifically mention vegetables being polluted but did mention perhaps people should not be drinking from these hoses. Although it is not all hoses, Green Talk also tested other gardening equipment. I'll link you to the two articles I read about it.
