I've been getting into a bad habit of eating large meals infrequently, with questionable nutritional content. I have limited funds, but I think I can manage a diet where I eat healther, smaller meals/snacks more frequently. Unfortunately I can't think of any easy fruits, veggies, etcs that I could eat at work and don't need the equipment to prepare anything
Any ideas?
A bag of mixed nuts is a healthy and delicious snack. Nuts, as you probably know, are high in protein. Each type of nut also has various other health benefits. Similar to what BrainBurner said about pretzels; the less salt you have, the better it is for you. I actually prefer them without salt. The sodium levels aren't too high in the salted nuts, though, so it's not that bad if you choose to have salt. Either way, nuts are a great snack choice.
