Eventually, people have to just say no and say no together. But in a society built on staying apart, how in the hell do we pull it off? Occupy had a real good shot at it and they killed their own momentum by being unable to execute a plan that explicitly targeted the ones exploiting the system. I think we need to something like that again only with protests at specific targets, like how protesters in the Ukraine are outside the homes of government officials. You have to make the establishment uncomfortable somehow. I dont think pickets and drum circles in the park are the answer. And yes, I was there.
