I don't hate Justin Bieber because hating someone I've never met is stupid and a waste of energy. Hate requires action, so I don't actively dislike the guy because I have better things to do. That being said, it feels like this article is trying to justify the fact that he's a shitty person. "Oh, he's just a kid, he just happens to have money and followers, and people hate him because of that." Excluding the "lewronggenerationers", I think most people think he should be a better role-model because of the fact that he has so much influence over teenagers. Being a kid doesn't excuse shitty behavior. Shitty behavior is shitty behavior. "he'll grow out of it", sure, but let's focus on the present, shall we?

This author seems to be downplaying both the influence Biebs has, and the crap he's pulled. That being said, his song with Chance the Rapper is pretty sweet.
