The player walks around a fictional village collecting orbs. Every time the player collects an orb, the speed of light becomes a bit slower. Eventually time and space begin to display relativistic behavior, increasing the difficulty of collecting the next orb.
The game, developed by MIT, serves more as an intuitive demonstration of special relativity rather than a traditional, objective-based game. But it is polished, fun, and mind-blowing all the same.
This game is different than anything I've ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if some LSD supplier in Massachusetts is grinning widely right now.
