Could it be that some of this bump comes from temporary holiday employment?

Also, I was having a conversation with a neighbor the other day and he said that "55% of the people that receive unemployment checks find a job within 2 weeks of their unemployment eligibility expiring". I can't find anything to substantiate or refute this. Anyone know if this number is legitimate?

cc: Aren't unemployment figures seasonally adjusted? I guess if the temporary employment is increasing higher than usual, it's still a good thing, since it means the economy is picking up.
