Hey, forwardslash, do you have any recommended resources for learning arc? I have pretty good experience with typed functional languages (haskell, OCaml) but not very much with lisp (if that makes a difference). Do you like it?
I'm curious to hear what everyone's favorite Sigur Rós album is. I would have to vote for Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust just because it is the most straightforward and accessible.
Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to assert that Americans watch too much tv. That is just what surprised me the most about the data. Frankly I think the more interesting part is actually the contrast between what the more and less educated do with their time.
The last sentence is by far the more disturbing part. It doesn't surprise me that people like Lt Col Matthew Dooley exist, but it does surprise me that so many people must have taken the class and not felt the need to speak out against it.
