Perhaps this response is what the guy was after? He's received a ton of free press from the DailyDot, gotten the attention of countless reddit users and has likely generated some attention for his new startup. Granted, it's all negative attention but don't they say "any press is good press"?

The video for "Stand" by REM has all the qualities that should make for the worlds worst music video; Farm animals, badly choreographed dancing, Slow motion synchronized jumping, and an old lady gardening. But still, I love it. So this could be my pick for best and worst video. Two for one.
Really cool video, really exciting for those that made it and also really sad for those that didn't.

He's a bad ass, fo-sho. I first heard of him when he sang on some of Steve Vai's stuff in the 90's. Otherwise, I'd never of heard of him. Good call.

I used to listen to DCFC quite a bit, I'm a Ben Gibbard fan and absolutely love the Postal Service. I stopped listening to Death Cab around the time I first heard this song, I really didn't like it or the album it was on.
I do like your version though, it made me rethink the song and the lyrics and seemed a much more appropriate delivery. Strange that I should prefer your version over a band I listened to for years. Nice job taking a song and making it yours. I'll look forward to hearing more from you.

First of all, the video was enlightening to me and in a way that has nothing to do with male/female circumcision but rather in a way that displays how to share information. This video was very well put together. Simple and direct without pulling any punches. I'm glad I watched this.
