"Are you gay?" or "I hope I'm not going to offend you, but..." I love talking about sexuality and my experiences, and hearing about other people's reality and way of thinking, their opinions and feelings - but I only like all this when the people are open to discussion and or interested - so I never bring any of it up. It's both my favourite, and I wish people would ask it more. Fav answer (that I give, since I don't generally ask other people) - "yeah, I'm a flaming homo" (though I usually say something boring like.. 'yes.') - and - "Sure, no worries, ask or say anything ~ " Why - because it informs and opens up to interesting things, anthropological studies, and sharing - perhaps educating and enlightening.
I'm reading Animal Farm by George Orwell - just finished 1984 ;__; it was amazing, In my mind, f.451 and ClockworkOrange are in the same universe - and the chronology is: C.Orange first - one of the other two spoke of 'violence in the past' - I feel like C.O. is most like our society today - with oblivious and hedonistic youth; Then would be F.451 - which is again, like our day - but with more extremist control; luxury based capitalism with secret war undertones - and then moving into 1984 where there is a polar shift from capitalism to ingsocialism and more complete control from another angle.
Yeah ~ I mean Digg.com still exists, right?~ http://digg.com/.. ..oh wait no.. it doesn't exist.. it's a blog now...
Yeah, even though I may have unconsciously fallen victim of the Reddit system, I still can't be hostile to it, since it has opened me up to amazing things, hobbies, creative works and philosophies/ mirrors to my inner workings Eg: fountain pens, calligraphy, wicked_edge straight razor shaving, INTJ, short scary stories, LGBT subs, minimalism, atheism (I know everyone in the world hates the atheism sub, but after 23 years of being a conservative fundamentalist Seventh-day Adventist Christian, I needed an outlet for my anger and frustration) Someone mentioned that INTJ had really good spelling and grammar compared to other subs, and maybe it's because of the mainstream-ness, here's to hubski ~ may it be civil and thoughtful ever into the bright and majestic day ~~
