There's a whole book full of these: "Non Campus Mentis" or "Ignorance is Blitz"

Here's a few of them:

"Zorroastrianism was founded by Zorro. It was a duelist religion." "Roman senators wore purple tubas as a sign of respect" "Martin Luther nailed 95 theologians to a door"

This is one of the funniest things that i have ever read.

Liberalism used to mean balance and restraint. Nobody has all of the power, so nobody can abuse it. It's the worst system, except for all the others. I want balance in power between employees and employers, between citizens and government, and between the law and the Citizen. Democracy is just a balancing mechanism designed to produce about the type of government most people want. If you don't like it, move somewhere where people think like you.

I agree, and I'm here trying to get ahead of the curve. I think that Hubski's focus on individual reputation will make it harder to destroy. On the other hand, subreddits were supposed to be the magic bullet against eternal september.

I'm new from reddit. Hubski seems to focus on individual contributors and topics. It feels like it takes the best features of tumblr, twitter, and reddit and puts them into one site. I'm going to try it out, the community seems much more relaxed here. There's no "hivemind" feeling yet. On Reddit I felt like every comment came from the hivemind. Here, I see individual contributors posting things. I like it.
