Yep. I also deal with that unfortunately. "Help! Github isn't working" Well thanks, but I'll need more than that.
Ideally, some higher level math. It's just so much work and hard to get through without a teacher on my back.
Github for windows. Saves me thousands of seconds. I taught two almost completely computer-illiterate people how to contribute to my projects.

Never heard of such a thing. But yeah, I definitely get into to it really quickly. It just seems natural to be outside running around.
I try to go everyday. Once you've been running for more than 10 seconds, you basically can't stop. You can just feel the goodness of doing it.
My friend was home schooled for 11/12 years. She was more outgoing because she had to be, but she missed a lot of social queues and norms. It was pretty often that I had to tell her that what she was doing wasn't exactly appropriate for the situation. In the scope of education however, it was great for her. So there's some advantages there.
Reddit is pretty different though. People naturally (through voting) choose the best jokes. There's no value in just stealing content for page views.
