I really love 2001 too and had the same experience as Woody had. I think the only film I've watched from Woody Allen was Annie Hall, which I didn't like at all. Did I miss anything? Any other movies of him I should watch?

I completely agree with Charlie Brooker. But as bad as it sounds, people love watching stuff like this.
I've never really been a fan of Digg, but the content on the frontpage actually looks a lot better then Reddit does right now. I hardly see any memes or ragecomics. However, there doesn't seem to be a lot of discussions going on.
Kafka on the Shore is one of my favorites by him. I really got caught up in that one.
