Been listening to the Oh Hellos again. If you like folk music, you'll love them. Here is a sampling of their music from NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series.

I make notes of the names of the people I meet. You'd be surprised at how many people you meet in a day. Also, people tend to like that you remember them by name.

Took the Illinois civil service test this morning. I'm thinking I rocked it, so I hope I get this new job. If it doesn't work out I have a back-up plan to continue working on my business. Balloon animals anyone?

I recently realized I have/had feelings for this girl I met in college. It really didn't strike me until she contacted me recently, but we'll see if that works out. All in all things have been looking up. I'm stoked for this new year. I hope all of you have a good holidays!

What surprises me about Detroit is how sprawling it is. Looking at these pictures I realized that there is so much space. Why wasn't that ever used? Why did contractors choose to build outward rather than upward? Differences between city landscapes fascinate me.
