(Greetings Hubski! It's been a while. Did you miss me? /g )

So I haven't read this yet beyond the first few pages but the mention of Patrick Buchanan (then merely a lowly WH staffer) and his critique of networks as "an ideological monopoly" and regulatory oversight of network content was striking in its similarity with du jour discussions regarding social networks. Thought it might be of interest.

You can read about it from the horse's mouth. (And I do not wish to make a habit of contradicting kleinb100, but it is in fact called Globalism by its propents. Neo-Liberalism is the 'theoretical' framework that supports the political front of Globalists.)

http://www.cfr.org/sovereignty/sovereignty-globalisation/p9903

There are three general fronts opposing globalism: conservative, theoretical, and conspirational.

The conservative group -- whether cultural or political -- is opposed by the self evident fact that globalism will by necessity entail the erosion of national integrity (nationalism here meaing in essence that your life for better or worse is mainly impacted by your own nation's features, culture, politics, trends, etc., which in a democratic nation means you have some say in it).

The theoretical group objects to the neo-liberal (economic) and neo-con (martial) framework, by objecting to the reduction of all politics to mere economics ("end of history"); and the wars necessitated by the push to 'remove' (regime change) nations that stand in the way per the neo-con policy.

The conspirationist share some (or all, depending on the tin foil envelope) of above, but go further in asserting that globalism is not motivated by the overt neo-liberal ideology but is in fact a nefarious plan to affect a gray universal culture and entirely strip the mass of humanity of our cultural and political will, and reduce us to "slaves" in the grand global plantation of a few wealthy families that subverted Europe starting in 16th century. Typically, but not necessarily, this gets reduced to (or slandered as per your pov) as anti-semitism given that the said families are banking families of Rothschilds and the Rockefellers.

So you will find that conservative and conspirational opposition are highly sensitive to efforts to dismantle standing cultural institutions such as religion, family, sexual norms, etc. They view it -- and this is actually fairly supported by human history -- as a 'device' to reduce the individual into a highly programmable 'unit' in the larger socio-economic regime. Recent examples that these two fronts cite are the collectivist tyrannies of Soviet Union and Maoist China.

The theoretical front is keenly sensitive to the transfer of political power to trans-national corporations (institutionalized in secret treaties such as TPP).

My personal view is that some form of united Humanity is certainly inevitable short of some natural disaster or global conflict that would dismantle the current civiliation and sends us back to caves and the proverbial drawing board.

But I equally believe that the current self-elected global elite are entirely unsuited -- in terms of moral, intellectual, and administrative deficits -- to lead an unwilling (and I should add, not yet ready) humanity to such a union at this point in time.

Anyway, that is my 2cents and hope it is informative.

alpha0  ·  3317 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran

... the quest for dominance within Islam and Middle Eastern geopolitical hegemony ...

"Islamic Republic" of Iran is a shadow client of the shadow global state. That quote above says it all.

Let us review the support of the "international community" for the "Islamic" "revolution" of Iran:

1 - Alarmed by the Shah of Iran's vigorous expressions of Iranian nationalism in early 70s, the West began a systemic vilification of the Iranian Monarchy. Usual useful fools/tools ala Amnesty International, et al, duly took up the misinformation campaign to paint the Kingdom of Iran as a "tyrannical police state". Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi himself "one of the worst dictators in the world'. This in a century that have provided exemplary specimens of ultra-violent systems and leaders from East to the West.

For the record, the Shah of Iran was a rather incompetent tyrant. He managed to only execute 4000+ -- these were actual factual terrorists bombing police stations, robbing banks, carrying out assassinations and not "underwear bombers", kids -- militant enemies of the Iranian state. Any modern American president has put away an order of magnitude more humans in 4 years of successful use of violence to assert dominance ...

2 - Noting the lack of success of the socialist and communist ideology in the general area -- Iran had a very active communist party since early 20th century but the Shia Clerics and their supporters divided the potential pool of useful tools.

Starting in (precisely) '77 -- in accord with the strategic roadmap of Trilateral Commission -- Iranian students in the west suddenly 'found' religion. Up to that point, most restless and idle pseudo-intellectual wannabes studying on Iranian nations' dime abroad favored Lenin, Uncle Joe, the comedy duo of Marx and Engels, or the uncompromising chairman Meow -- put in a bowl, shake vigorously, and grab a selection and don't forget to put a star, sheaf of wheat, and a raised hand hoisting a carbine in your flag, Comrades! -- but then suddenly they all put on beards, and started lining up for prayers facing Mecca ...

Historic context, dear reader, is this is the period that immediately let to the following (planned) sequence of events to permanently destabilize the so-called "middle east" aka East and Central Asia: Removal of the Shah -> Invasion of Afghanistan by USSR -> civil war in Lebanon -> American embassy hostages -> Iran-Iraq war (millions dead and maimed ...) -> Iran-Contra -> Iraq war #1 -> Muslim tewowism -> "Al-Qaeda" -> apparent suspension of the Laws of Physics in NYC -> The New American Police State -> Iraq War #2 -> overthrow of Libyan regime -> on-going attempt at overthrow of Syrian regime -> "ISIS" -> ...

Funny thing, dear reader, that through out the period of 77 -> now, the West has been protecting and removing the enemies of the "Islamic Republicans" :)

Exhibits:

1 - "Saint" Ayatollah Khomeni (per Time magazine) and CIA assets (complete with girlfriends in American media :) advising the said "Saint" in Paris, France;

1a - BBC News actually broadcasted the place and date for rallies as announced in Paris. This is before Twitter and Facebook, dear colorful revolutionary comrades!,

2 - Clear directive delivered by US military to Imperial Iranian Generals to "stand down" (FACT)

3 - Delivery of the "Saint" by Air France -- in a replay of Lenin's ride in a sealed German train to Russia -- to the hapless and clueless Iranian nation,

4 - Covert military support to Iran by USA and Israel during Iran-Iraq war,

5 - Removal of enemy number one, Saddam Hussein,

6 - Removal of enemy number two, the Taliban,

7 - Establishment the bona fides of "revolutionary Muslims" of "IR" of I as 'leaders of the Muslims worldwide', e.g. "Let's bomb Iran",

7a - former head of CIA cum defense minister kindly furnished a Stealth Drone to the bewildered Iranian military -- review the photos :) -- to signal the Zionist client regime in Tel Aviv to "back off" ..

8 - Insertion of "ISIS" via destabilized Syria into Iraq -- US and Iran have collaborated in fighting "ISIS", did you know? (ISIS's purpose in part is, as a caricature of an orthodox Sunni regime, to completely discredit such notions.)

and now,

9 - Gradual 'resolution' of the Iranian "nuclear threat" and likely re-integration, saber rattling by the elite organ NYTimes not-withstanding ...

Power in Russia [...] (even in Soviet times when they were technically atheistic and anti church)

Would like to see some refs to back up this claim.

This man had a holistic understanding of the patriarchal civilization and expressed it in masterpieces 3 different ways at 3 different times. While Sullivan apparently could not psychologically escape the Great Mother, Frank was apparently more robust and laid down Sullivan's organic ordering system in 3D. The academic effete still don't know what to do about him.

"Monetary system" should not be confused with "Capitalism". This is a fundamental point. Banksters are not in the "capitalism" business, it is the "money" business.
