misandry is a stupid word. A word for folks in power that want to steal even victim-hood.
Yes
Urban Poverty = black folks? Canada has close to the U.S. Ethnic / Cultural breakdown I'll say what I always say. in Canada they hunt a lot but they also have very restrictive gun control laws. In Canada less people get shot. Perhaps if Urban poverty is not just code for Black Folks (I am confident you are not using it that way but I like to tease people.) then increasing the minimum wage ending redlining etc would do more to decrease gun violence than less guns. but remember the most common gun crime is a white dude blowing his own head off.

Perhaps as a guard against the suicidal risk that comes with sentience?
If this was a diner party or a evening at the pub with friends.
(which really is what hubski is at least to me) What I would do here is say to geneusutwerk "this is Laurelai - Laurelai this is geneusutwerk I think both of you have an interest in gender politics" y'all would shake hands, realize the other person is a person, mumble greetings/apologies and prolly hit it off. so whatever the online equivalent of this is.
hehe :) actually on further thoughtful reflection maybe we can use this for a teaching moment. I read Emily Post as a child. (I have always had a hard time understanding the customs and habits of my fellowman and etiquette books gave me guidelines to pretend to be normal) Well anyway Ms Post said something that has stuck with me to this day (I still can't remember which side the salad fork goes) She said when catching someone in a breach of etiquette is impolite to point it out. I think her example was someone eating chicken with their fingers. Her suggestion to a gracious hostess was not to call them out or even to take them aside and correct them but instead to eat the chicken with their own fingers as not embarrass them. Simply put it is ruder to point out the rudeness in others than to accidentally make a faux pas
I am ambivalent. Of course Hedegaard should have a right to say whatever he wants and life should not be the punishment for any speech. With that said if someone had a hobby of handing out mugs with this picture on them
I may be a little offended. (after I stopped laughing.) Lars is defending the right to free speech but how he uses that speech is to bully a minority. I am still on his side but I don't like him.
mk!!!???!!!
very nice I seem to be out of badges or I would slap one on it.
