All 3 of their current users are reportedly very upset.

Here's the issue in brief:

- IF you ever filled out a Google plus profile

and

- IF one of your friends filled out a Google plus profile

and

- IF one of your friends used his Google plus profile to log into one of 438 apps, instead of "signing in through Facebook" or "signing in through email" from 2015 until March 2018

...your data has been breached.

You didn't need to log into Google plus since inception for your data to have been affected by this.

And keep in mind: your Youtube login and info is your Google Plus login and info. Because Google.

>Under the MPRA, members who don’t vote are considered to have voted yes.

Wonder what kind of notification they're required to give under that law.

notwithstanding someguyfromcanada's expertise, my union just sends us letters. No fucks given.

someguyfromcanada  ·  792 days ago  ·  link  ·

That is probably the most common method.

And if you think that is bad: It may still be legal in some places for the money to revert back to the company if the administrator gets no response.

Surprisingly enough, I had at one point hoped to practice Pension Law and had the opportunity to participate in the wind-up of a big US pension plan (Anaconda Copper). The notice provisions were strict, even to the point of requiring people to be tracked down like long lost heirs and annuities bought in trust for those that could not be found.

I have also seen cases where Notice means personal delivery or regular mail to each person entitled to receive the notice with provisions to apply for authorization to give notice through public advertisement or otherwise if they could not be found. I am not sure which procedures apply here.

The Rules I have seen that seem to apply here are not that helpful as it is probably more defined in case law. The Rules of Notice may be found here.

A sample MPRA Notice may be found here.

Spamming is already pretty difficult, what with the numerous ways you can choose how you view things.

Get rid of powers for when the guy you don't like is in office, repeal when your guy is in office.

This being right after Oregon's civil war, your title made me think you got popped by a Beaver's fan.

There's still the Nevada trial at least.

On one hand, good riddance.

On the other?

hahaha no, good riddance.

I picked up Transformers Devastation for myself, and spent about 15-20 bucks getting various friends stuff.

Justified paranoia in Zuckerberg's case, I would think. If anyone was going to get spied on in a variety of seemingly outlandish ways, it'd be him and other super rich/powerful folks like him.

Especially when his company directly has to comply with requests from NSLs to implement systems that plug into PRISM.

If you've ever spoken to a script kiddie with a full command and control trojan he's downloaded, you'll know that all they are interested in is the camera and it's the first thing they check.

Then you have the more skilled and actual hackers and viruses that might need to do something on the screen real quick while nobody is there. How do you check that? The camera.

I mean really it would be more newsworthy if it was discovered there wasn't tape on his camera.

On one hand, that's shady as fuck.

On the other, I like money so...

Not having their payouts public is kind of shady though. I mean, on top of the shadiness of the business model.

I feel like selling old socks to people with foot fetishes is less shady.

>Is it necessary for the good psychological wellbeing of members in a society to work for their necessities and luxuries?

Necessities? Iffy. Luxuries? Absolutely. If a person has to put in 60 hours a week to keep a roof over their head and food on their table, their mental state is going to absolutely be different than the guy who works 30 hours a week just so they can build up their comic book collection. I'm inclined to say said mental state is going to be far better in the latter case, and lead to more rational decisions. The guy working 30 hours isn't going to look at a payday loan when they come up a little short for Walking Dead #1, for one obvious example.

As a matter of course, I prefer understated to ostentatious, so things like this appeal to me more than something garish. At the far end of things, maybe something like this
