I hope he stays. Trump needs some advisors who have interests that aren't wholly self-serving. Unfortunately, it seems a very vocal mass of people believe you can only be an advisor to the president if you agree with the president...

Uber's Travis Kalanick had to leave the advisory panel for this reason:

“Joining the group was not meant to be an endorsement of the president or his agenda but unfortunately it has been misinterpreted to be exactly that,” Mr Kalanick told staff in a memo announcing he was stepping down.

    ...

Mr Kalanick bemoaned what he called a “perception-reality gap”.

Although he said he didn’t support President Trump’s immigration policy, people thought he did. And that’s what mattered most.

He's learning humility in his role as president-elect. It used to be Trump Wall, now it's the more modest Great Wall.

Steve Huffman is libertarian like China is democratic.

I always recommend to people who need a last-resort type of job that they should be a dishwasher. I recommend it because it's really the easiest damn job, yet you get paid as much as a cook (which, I think, is a much more stressful job). It's also incredibly relaxing -- partly because it's so easy, and partly because, once you focus on the task, you enter a state of serene mindfulness.

I don't know if you're so desperate that you'd need a job like that, but it's worth noting, I suppose.

I don't think this has much to do with thought crimes. This is more 'pre-crime' technology. Actually, it reminds me of The Machine from Person of Interest.

Deadpool looks like it will be some fun. I have never read a Deadpool comic, so I know little about the character, but even so I am excited to see what is in store.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The more I think about this movie, the more excited I am. Given the quality of Man of Steel, I think this movie may disappoint me, but I really hope it exceeds my expectations.

Captain America: Civil War I hope this one is more like Captain America: The First Avenger than it is like Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

X-Men: Apocalypse I've been enjoying the new X-Men movies. I hope this one continues the trend of good movies.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story I am interested, but it is really only because it is another Star Wars film.

And finally, Suicide Squad. I will watch this one, but I think I may maintain low expectations for it.
