Unfortunately, the only one I know is #3. One of my favorite electronic musicians.
I encounter this same bug as well when I switch to clean/office. I use the latest Chrome with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Oh, man, this is great. Pretty much everything is utter nonsense, but, unfortunately, it sounds just like normal Reddit posting. For instance: the wild bananas post is about the resignation of Pao and despite the wildly erroneous title, the first comment is about feminism and the follow up is complaining about Tumblr. It is eerie how accurate this thing is. But then, as you look around further, it becomes heavily obvious that it is just controlled chaos. Definite highlight though has to be "Me on the other hand, any attack that doesn't come via one of the first times I ever encounter an argument like that is why you don't define your position in someone else's car and forget to arrange someone to take her own virginity with a lidocaine covered dildo."
Oh, God, Elfen Lied... The first time I ever watched Elfen Lied was in the middle of high school. I went into it knowing absolutely nothing about it. Including how it started... So yeah... Watched a (mostly?) naked chick run around a military base splattering peoples brains and guts everywhere. Thankfully no teacher noticed.
Yeah. That's what I'm getting at. I didn't really make that clear.
I hear ya. I read (not just manga, but novels, non-fiction, poetry) more for entertainment than for learning. The reason that I prefer manga over anime is because of the pacing. When I'm reading manga, or books in general, I can read as fast or as slow as I want and can force myself to read at a pace that feels appropriate to what I'm reading. With anime, and movies and other types of TV shows as well, I'm forced to follow at the pace of what the director/writer feels is appropriate.
Chicken. Preferably thigh meat (tastes better, is juicier than breast meat), unless I plan on making chicken katsu or chicken tenders/nuggets, then breast meat. Also, pomegranates. Delicious, juicy, and extremely versatile. Great on yogurt and salads. The base to many great drinks and can add a nice flavor to smoothies. Can be used as the base of a marinade for chicken.
Really? Never read manga. I mean, fair enough. I personally prefer manga over anime. If you ever feel like trying to find some to read, I'd be glad to recommend some depending on what your tastes are.
Oh, yeah. Hayao Miyazaki definitely counts. I totally forgot about Pokemon. Pokemon was definitely my first anime.
Man... I wish I was a better saxophonist. It's really awesome and I can't wait to hear the next cut(?) of it.
Just... wow. I never thought I'd see the day... I honestly cannot wait to see this.
I started with Pathfinder and it is the only other d20 system I've played. Fifth edition is simple. At least compared to Pathfinder. Feats are less of thing, which makes character creation/advancement quicker than with PF. I've only played one session with the system, but combat takes less time and is easier in general. Somethings that I don't particularly like, but make sense are the usage of advantage and inspiration dice. Overall, I like it.
I'm not a fan of the Fallout series (I enjoy watching play-throughs, but when I try to play, I don't find it nearly as engrossing), but I really enjoy TES. The first time through, I don't use any mods. After I've completed the game and as much of the extra stuff as I can, I tend to start over with game-mechanics-changing mods. For instance, my most recent play-through of Skyrim, I used one of the many alternate start mods, as well as a mod that allows you to become a Bard and I have spent my time going around singing and playing the loot and doing quests.
I, personally, am rather (read: extremely) neutral on the subject. It's rather hard for me to put down in words my exact political feelings, but if I had to, I would probably describe myself as apathetic towards politics. That is to say, I know what I would prefer to have from political leaders and what sorts of platforms I'd like my representatives to stand on, but on a day-to-day basis, politics is not something I dedicate time to thinking about. Seriously, this is probably the most I've thought about the subject in a long while.
Outside the educational children's games, DOOM and Commander Keen were my first games. Also, thanks for the link. Now that I've gotten into D&D, (specifically Pathfinder [not technically D&D, but close enough] and 5e) I can really see how it has influenced video gaming.
I don't honestly know. For the life of me, I can't figure out why faces are attractive to me. For instance, I know two women, sisters, who are both quite beautiful in their own ways, are both very similar in appearance, but the younger of the two, to me, is significantly more attractive. Something about her face is more attractive, maybe the shape, maybe her eyes, maybe he smile. I just don't know.
I found it by accident last week and wound up spending about an hour exploring. I had never actually played Zork/any other text-based games, but it was a lot of fun. Kind of reminds me of D&D.
Yes and no. Yes, gay marriage, no marriage should not be legal. Or put more eloquently, I don't think marriage should be a legal thing. In my opinion, you should have to go to the government and say, "Yep, we want to get married. Gimme license." I don't have a particular reason why it shouldn't be a legal thing, but I don't know, it's just one of the many things that I think the government should be allowed to control.
I have always seen really positive things about GURPS, so it's kind of refreshing to hear something negative about.
While, unfortunately, I don't have a group with open seats, I would suggest you checking out [Roll20](www.roll20.net). It's an online tabletop gaming community and web-based application. It's how I play TTRPGs, since no one in my area is interested.
NO SHIT!? I've never actually played Wayfarers, but when I was looking to get into roleplaying, I came across Wayfarers and was seriously considering trying to find a group to play with. I, unfortunately, wound up going with Pathfinder because it was easier to find a group and all/most the information on it was easily available online.
I just really enjoy their sound. My friend initially had me listen to Ride and I was like, "I don't the reggae-like sound, but I really like everything else... I need to listen to the rest of their stuff." Now, I'm hooked.
I've really been into twenty one pilots lately. Especially stuff off their new album. I've also found my self listening to Childish Gambino's Camp on repeat. And repeating You See Me and Backpackers whenever they come on.
Welp, looks like I'm getting into DotA2.
Oh, my! That sounds hilarious.
I'd have to say either electronic or metalcore. For electronic, my favorite album is probably Daft Punk's Random Access Memories or Monstercat 017 - Ascension. For metalcore, my favorite album is Ice Nine Kill's Safe is Just a Shadow.
I haven't looked at Gargantia myself, with the exception of Knights of Sidonia and Gundam 00, I don't generally like giant mecha anime. I've watched the first two episodes of Psycho Pass and while the story is pretty good and the animation is good, I just absolutely hate the premise of the show. "Oh, you have criminal thoughts? Deadified! Associated with a criminal? K-worded!" Not my cup of tea. I really enjoy Studio Ghibli movies, but haven't seen Arietty yet, despite having a boxed set of all/most of the Studio Ghibli movies. I totes forgot that Nausicaa was a manga. I've never read any of Irving's novels/works, would you recommend them? Aside from the various manga I'm reading, I currently reading notes from a small island by Bill Bryson.
True dat! I had to make a second account just for browsing at school.
Hey! Yozakura isn't schlocky! But seriously, Yozakura Quartet is pretty awesome. I've heard Oreimo and Nichijou are pretty good, if you like that genre. However, I haven't heard about Koufuku Graffiti. From its description, it sounds kind of like Shokugeki no Soma, but without the battle anime parts.
