"Uncertainty" is not an effect of observation but rather a fundamental property of particles themselves, one that, at least according to Heisenberg, holds true even in the absence of observation.

Is there any way to confirm this without observation? If there isn't, then is there any way to compensate for the effects of observation so we can guess what they might be doing without the observation?
