I've used Zipcar here in Vancouver a handful of times. Mostly to buy plants from Home Depot and stuff. It's just okay. You gotta be on your game for them though. Wanna return it 15 min. later? That'll cost ya. In the city here, we have another business called Car-2-Go which is really taking off. They have the market figured out a bit more. Their fleet is ONLY smart cars. Pick one up from the curb and drop it off anywhere within city limits. No time limit. No reservation. Thing is, don't plan on a round trip because anyone with a card can get yours at anytime wherever you decide to park it. But for the city, it's hassle free and that's the key.
