As a keen "Zipster", I'm still not entirely sure what to expect from Zipcar's new owners. I'm hopeful that they've got the money (which, it sounds like, was the major thing that Zipcar was missing) to expand their fleets around the UK and Europe. But I'm aware that another possibility is that they'll just keep running it as-is and gradually retire it, if they can't find a way to market the service that brings enough extra customers to make it "work".
