It's like watching the Super Bowl when I don't really like either team. I'm still going to watch, but I have no energy behind the outcome. I am excited to see if my favored candidate is elected mayor, he really seems like the better choice, but his opponent is like the pied piper of starry eyed fools and youths. Because I don't have a dog in this fight it's interesting to see how I feel about some voting issues without my usual bias. The electoral college should be abolished, it's beyond ridiculous. It only distorts the will of the people. Voting machines should be unquestionably robust and accurate, leaving a paper trail with software that is open for anyone to inspect.
