Hilarious - and it makes me truly grateful I'm not a proper journalist. The newsprint format requires compliance to a very specific set of stylistic expectations, which it repeats over and over, ad nauseam. My favorite response to this, other than nausea and sympathy, is mockery, which Kent Brockman also does brilliantly. And it makes me think of this great Onion article:
