On the whole, I agree with you; the guy needs to take a serious break and slow down. Being technical, there aren't 200 hours in a week and he's already divorced, and his wife's mementos definitely didn't make Musk seem like a nice person. The guy does need to realize he definitely isn't the only one who can solve the worlds problems, but my guess is that he feels like he can't take a break until the Model 3 is over the hump, otherwise Tesla's stock will crash. The "easy" smart play would have been to avoid twitter and media engagements in general for the next little while, but with the twitter announcements about taking the company private, I feel like he's boxed himself in. The stock has dropped almost 20% since his "going private" announcement, so there are probably a lot of angry investors out there right now.
