I kinda like his style, especially his first books and stories that were less serious. But he's definitely not an author that I would put along giants like Lem or Dukaj. He's kinda like Pilipiuk if you don't mind a name-drop. Started really funny and with a 'unique' style but evolved along the Cerebus Syndrome trope for some reason.
As for Erikson, I have no idea. I'm kinda aware of the series but never felt compelled to give it a go.
