I tend to listen to "comfort albums" when I'm sewing - albums I listened to a million times at some time in the past. I can't listen to new music while sewing, because then I can't focus at all. Also can't do podcasts/audiobooks for the same reason. Some comfort selections: Casiotone for the Painfully Alone (listened to endlessly in college) Serengeti - Family and Friends (the first hip-hop album I liked at all, grade 11) Algernon Cadwallader (one of 4 albums I had on my phone when I was in Europe for 3 weeks this past summer. Also, listened to it a fuckton in high school).
