I absolutely love this song. I prefer the video with historical and modern footage though: I have seen Gordie several times. Last time was last year or maybe the year before and he looked extremely frail. I was sitting 2nd row center and I could swear that when he sang "Fellas its been good ta know ya" he was looking right at me. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear. I used to see him on a regular basis out at clubs watching music. The only time I saw him out of a music context I was just wasting time driving slowly through one of my fav neighborhoods and there he was out raking his front lawn. I stuck my arm out the sunroof to wave and yelled "How ya doing Gordie" and he waved and yelled back something like "Great. How you doin?"
