I found high school to be a terrible waste of time. I considered dropping out, but didn't because of some circumstances that were beyond my control. If I had to do it over again I probably would have dropped out. It's a meaningless undertaking. I barely graduated, and I have a life that most people would define as successful. It's a purgatory or prison to be sure, but once you're done you can leave it behind fairly easily. The big lie of high school is that it matters even a little to your life. You succeed or fail on your own terms in life. Edit: To answer the question, you should be doing whatever interests you at any age. Getting good a doing anything is worthwhile.
