Yes. Poor Reddit. But the article also mentions companies and technology that specialize in filtering content that matters to us. In some ways, might it be better to be inundated with data, as long as our filters can accurately and efficiently identify the information that is likely to capture our interest? But then again, what about those random chance encounters? Those links you almost didn't click on, but for some reason did, and then it opened you up to some whole new world? Hmm...
