Re: two - an interesting thing here is that you presumably have some sort of implied contract (it will soon become obvious that I don't know anything about this) with the vehicle manufacturer in which your safety while using their product is a significant issue. Would the manufacturer have that same level of agreement with the general population? Presumably they are still liable to prosecution if their vehicle causes harm to anyone, but it in terms of programming and contractual obligation, I wonder if it's 'customer first'? Edit: minor correction
