My collection of Magic the Gathering cards. I started playing early, and had a number of cards that have since skyrocketed in price. As no one was playing at the time, and as the game had become less interesting, I gave my collection to a friend. He later sold them with the rest of his collection. At the time it was probably worth $300. Now it would probably be worth $2000. But it's not the money. The game got better again, and I get together with a few pals of mine play sometimes. I'd just like to have the cards.
I also sold an amp. I moved back from Cambridge MA to Michigan, but didn't have room for my bass amp. I went back to visit, and to pick up my amp. One Thursday each month, you can't park over night because of street cleaning. That was the Thursday I arrived. My car got towed, and I had to sell my amp to get it back. Plus I had to walk about 5 miles to my car. :/
