I'm glad I put you in my feed and was able to see this astounding article. The possibility of someone changing their diagnosis because they see a lesbian novel on the bed next to the patient, or not admitting the top candidate to medical school because he seems effeminate -- these examples happen quickly and quietly and unless someone speaks up, as the author of this article did, no one will hear about it. I imagine these things are still going on in many places.
