Then there is Sweden's deep geological repository for storing radioactive materials. It is supposed to hold nuclear waste for 100,000 years. Which is very interesting to think about, because how do we mark the site? Should there be a sign that says Keep Out!? Will people be able to read the language that the sign is written in? After 100,000 years, how could humans even resist opening it up, just to see what's inside?
