30+ years? Wow, that's impressive. Thanks for all the input and encouragement, I really appreciate it. I like the idea of using a scale and trying to match the pitches, I might have to try that. A lot of the music I listen to and try to emulate is punk and garage rock, where vocal competency usually isn't anywhere near the top of the list.
You might be interested to know that there's a lot of musicians here, and there are occasional collaborative songs composed and recorded by groups of people.
