This article implies to me that the author thinks one should have a complicated relationship with every single band who's played at that festival (ever) which frankly requires a little more back-digging into a band's history than I usually do when I start listening to a band, and also that one should have an awareness of what this festival does and does not support when doing so, which also requires frankly a little more back-digging than I typically do when I look at which festivals a band I like may have played at. I'm not saying she's wrong but it also implies a burden of research that might be above-and-beyond the average person.
