"Or sometimes I just ask em what they are wearing and see if I can get it a little steamy (this never goes anywhere)". How far would you be willing to take that though? It would be funny if the guy on the phone turned it around on you and you were the uncomfortable one.

These examples of fucking with the telemarketers are all funny and most of us have done it but lets not forget that its a really shitty job and doesn't pay dick. Also, what are you wearing?

My guess, it never happened. Makes for a good story though.

This is really an amazing video. I would imagine that a child would be overwhelmed by the magical nature of it and adults would again feel like children. I wonder if it was impressive from all angels or if it had to be seen from a certain vantage point?

Taylor guitars are what old guys that used to play guitar buy. For that kind of money, I'll take a nice Martin and the neck better not have any spots on it.

Group think drives most of societies largest decisions. Group think gives us presidents, bigoted policy etc. People will often reject their own conscious in order to "fit in". I wish I could say that I've never been guilty of this myself. The irony is that some of the most successful people are those that go against the grain of group think. Why then is it so rare?

Thank you for the impetus to look up the NASA antenna experiment. It really is fascinating that functional design can now be taken to an entirely new level.

Three things stuck out to me:

1. I assumed immediately that it was a boy. Does that make me sexist?

2. The process of aging happens so quickly, it's important to stop and be there, involved with your child

3. Girls talk a lot, but especially after the age of 8

Proud to say I don't play video games, I have a job and I've never mast.... okay, that's a lie.

Seriously though, the "Lazy Song" that they reference is a sign of the apocalypse imo. I teach piano lessons to a 13 year old girl and she wanted me to teach it to her. I said no and asked her to pick another song.

Can't remember the last movie I watched. I will spend an entire weekend watching a full series that I've never seen though. Just finished Battlestar Galactica.
