Is this real life? What kind of timeline did I find myself in? Why is this lady apart of it?

It makes me wonder if the house will simply draft a new bill with no border wall money? Declaring an emergency is just gonna be fought in the courts and likely lose (I hope), and then he doesn't really have any other option than to take whatever new deal the democrats come up with after he's pissed them off a second time. He got less money this time around and brought his already abysmal approval rating lower during the shutdown, how does he think it's a good idea to roll over it a second time and ruin his chances of getting any money at all???

Imagine blasting something through the cosmos, have it land on an entirely different planet, and have it last nearly 60X longer than you intended. That's some good engineering.

Nonetheless, states that pursue abstinence only policies tend to not provide easy access to birth control, abortion, planned parenthood centers, etc. It's likely the case that these states want higher birthrates. The main issue stemming from these kinds of policy tends to be teens and young adults who have a child when they aren't prepared for one. Children are expensive of course, and it really makes life harder for someone on the brink financially and emotionally, leading to higher poverty rates and an unhappier population. When your country actively discourages parental leave and turns around and discourages proper sex education, you've really got to wonder what the end goal of that is?

Can't post links yet, but Jack Stauber has been an obsession of mine lately. I think his song Buttercup has been my favorite so far. If you're into synth-pop, lo-fi styled music he's got some great (and sometimes very weird) tracks.
