By now, nobody should be surprised that the public is ignorant about these things.

Most don't know the difference between deficit and debt. I'd bet that most would see this headline and think that debt is shrinking.

Even if they can get through that, they may still think that deficit is actually shrinking in real dollars rather than relative to an increasing GDP.

They're not "feeding" it to USA. They're selling it. And they have plenty of people lining up to buy it.

It's sad, I agree. But the reality (IMO) is that until the market for cheap unhealthy food is gone, nothing will change.

tl;dr A stripped down Linux meant to host many LXC containers via Docker.

As a long time user and fan of FreeBSD jails, I really like this!

Interestingly, cameras have recently been banned in the SF fire department after video leaked of SFFD personnel running over a foam retardant occluded victim at the Asiana crash scene.

I don't think these things will ever be popular within muni governments or rank and file officers (be it fire, police, whatever). And so, I think they'll always do everything possible to avoid them altogether, or at a minimum obscure them.
