Conor Oberst, the lead singer of Bright Eyes, is an amazing writer.

And I know you have a heavy heart; /I can feel it when we kiss/ So many men stronger than me have thrown their backs out trying to lift it/ But me I'm not a gamble you can count on me to split /The love I sell you in the evening, by the morning won't exist.

A Perfect Sonnet

Lately I've been wishing I had one desire/ Something that would make me never want another/ Something that would make it so that nothing mattered/ All would be clear then/ But I guess I'll have to settle for a few brief moments/ And watch it all dissolve into a single second/ And try to write it down into a perfect sonnet/ Or one foolish line

Pentatonix is a marvelously refreshing group, I'm so glad that I know about them. And I completely know what you mean about the hymns and carols! (My choir is currently learning a 3rd version of Gloria...)

Wow, Glass Animals is super smooth! Thanks for sharing!

littletrimble  ·  3452 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What do you think about this landing page?

The UI and graphics look clean, the interface seems intuitive and very cool.

Just a couple notes:

-Grammar:

From here: "Fakia a landing page that works for any device..." then "Fakia is a clean onepage..."

The first paragraph feels awkward without some sort of transition from the Fakia to the rest of the sentence.

-Interface:

The page you linked to seems to be inaccessible after you navigate away.

Example: I can find no obvious way to return to here from here

Foxes' cover of "Don't Stop Me Now" is fantastic, and hopefully you can enjoy it even if you don't watch Doctor Who (which the cover was sung for.)

I'm in choir, so I really enjoy Pentatonix's a cappella covers.

Apply to be Peter Pan at Disneyworld, problem solved!

I live in Texas, and there was an Ebola scare at my school. Because of this, I stayed home for about 3-4 weeks and now I have a large amount of homework to make up for that I have been avoiding like the plague.

Playing ranked mode in League of Legends. I enjoy competition, but ranked mode often removes the fun of the game and replaces it with stress and frustration.

Quiz.

"The story goes that a Dublin theatre proprietor by the name of Richard Daly made a bet that he could, within forty-eight hours, make a nonsense word known throughout the city, and that the public would supply a meaning for it. After a performance one evening, he gave his staff cards with the word 'quiz' written on them, and told them to write the word on walls around the city. The next day the strange word was the talk of the town, and within a short time it had become part of the language."

(I interpreted this question in a more literal sense, so this is what anchors me to where I live right now.)

Fear, I harbor a consistent fear that if I left my city, I would be completely alone. Friends (and to a lesser degree, family) are what I value most, and leaving all of them behind is a very scary thought.
