I can get someone if needed.

If there's need for another person, I'd really enjoy playing with you all.

I hadn't realized it before but you were pretty new when I joined. You've been a great addition to the community.

Started reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson earlier today. Having fun with it so far.

You hate Clarkson, and yet you still watch reruns of the show.

There is simply a colossal amount of viewers of the show. Worth the money or not, it is easy to see how Amazon could rationalize spending it.

I've always thought this was Fugazi's most underrated album

Yeah I really like the Vita and I think it has a lot of potential. It's probably one of my favorite handhelds in terms of the console itself. I own a 3DS as well and honestly I think the Vita is a better system.

Unfortunately, Sony seems to want to just kill it. Without a steady flow of games, without good marketing, without effort, the machine really is going to die. And that's a shame. I think the Vita could have been so much more.

So, I guess Sony is just going to sweep the Vita under the carpet? It sure seems that way. They had a solid conference otherwise.

Nintendo has done well with the time they've had so far. Several good announcements. Hopefully we can see more of the new Star Fox later.

Cultural elitism is a good way to put it. Unfortunately I've found a lot of that in the anime community.

Don't let it discourage you from keeping the club going. I think the club a great idea that can be soured by having these kinds of arguments instead of discussing the actual show.

As far as a starting point, I agree with your suggestion of madoka magica. The intriguing plot and short time commitment required are good for getting new people into anime. You have seen it already, so I don't need to sell this anime to you.

After that? I would suggest steins;gate. It's slower paced at first and ~24 episodes, but ultimately worth watching and discussing.

Sure. Do you want a 1 or 2 season cap?

Of course. I was mostly trying to make what ando said a bit more accessible. I also wanted to point out that a lot of quality series are under the 26 episode cap, but above the 12 episode one.

I do see your point, though.
