Also why I checked in. I'm only 22, but man since I was 20 I would consider myself so much less stupid. The biggest thing I think for me is trying to understand myself so I can tailor my life to fit me. It also helps to identify your problems, with everything from your day to day routine to interactions with others. Then work towards correcting them.
So how do you walk through a mugging? Like you just ignored them and they left?

Hm, we have had some strings of violence on innocents here and there but yeah I don't think it's even close to a dangerous city.
Yeah, I'm poor this month because of my new Hankooks, I shudder to think how much those would cost. Pretty damn awesome though.
People who live in LA who think LA is tough and rugged have never been to Kansas City, Denver or Albuquerque.
What do you mean by that? I've lived in Denver my whole life and can't say that it's tough or rugged. I think most the danger comes from being involved in things you shouldn't be. I always felt perfectly safe as a little white boy buying crack in Globeville.
