This Saturday Hubski will be hosting a gathering in Ann Arbor Michigan. Location to be determined. The idea is just to get together, have some beers, a few laughs and some interesting conversation. I'll be flying in for the event and look forward to meeting some of you. I have confirmation that mk and b_b will be there...

UPDATE: Originally, we had set the location as the Arbor Brewing Company. Turns out that may not be accommodating as they can't hold a spot for us. I have some calls out to some other locations which are within a block of ABC. I'll update tomorrow.

Cool, see you there. I'm having second thoughts about the venue. I'm not sure there will be enough space at the bar area and their "event" space is taken.

Call the Corner Brewery Arbor Brewery's other site and see if they have an opening. I go there for skeptics in the pub and I love it.

A2 specifically. I love the CB though. I used to live 1 block away from it and walked down there regularly. A place in A2 that is open like that would be good. I'm thinking either Babs Underground, Cafe Habana Cellar/Lounge (beneath blue tractor) or even the Arena. For best cheap drinks I'd say Arena for best area to congregate I'd say Babs or Cafe Habana.
Any thoughts? What do you think OldNateNewNate? This is your hood, any places I'm not thinking of?

I agree. Let's go to Babs. If there is a game on at the Arena it will be too loud. What do you guys think? Plus 8:30 at Babs is pretty early, shouldn't be too busy.

True. Alright, so we're looking at either the Arena or Bab's Underground. Both have pool tables if people are in to that. Bab's might have a better selection of liquors... but the Arena has a bunch of taps....?

Wolverine State Brewing Company, next to the old Big George's has some great beers. Babs should be pretty quiet at 8:30, maybe to quiet . I'd say Arena, Jolly, Ashley's, or maybe Bar Louie if you want to talk.

Called them. First come seating and it's all at formal "tables", not much of a bar area to hang at according to them. Leaning heavily towards the Arena or Habana under Blue Tractor.

Inside is small and fills up quickly, may not be a good call. I don't expect us to have a huge crowd but still, you never know.

The hubski logo looks a little dated. It looks so May 2012. What happened to the light blue and orange satellite hubs.
