AskHubski:What's the creepiest thing that's ever happened to you?

I usually read peoples creepy/strange stuff on Reddit but recently Reddit seems more and more unusable...it's done nothing but slow down my browser and been annoying...Sooo....What's the creepiest thing that's ever happened to you?

Once me and my sisters were down in County Clare for a holliday when we were kids. We used to have little partys (buy lts of sweets and stuff, play board games and stay up late). So on this occasion we're all having fun and talking at i dunno what time of the night and my big sister says she's going off to the bathroom and tells us to be quiet while she's gone. We're very quiet, I don't even remember talking or anything and she comes back and gives out to us, telling us she's disappointed, that we were being really loud and she told us to be quiet. i still don't know what she heard but it wasn't us and we didn't hear anything...

When we were in high school, we used to often "camp" in the woods of Oakland University. I put "camp" in quotes because we basically ended up sitting around the fire all night just joking and drinking. There weren't any actual campsites there, and I am sure it was technically illegal to do it.

Anyway, there were five or six of us, and in the evening as we walked to the site, we saw a guy in a red running suit walking through the woods. As he wasn't on path, we thought it was a bit odd, and nicknamed him "Forest-walker". All that night, whenever we heard a sound in the woods surrounding us, we would joke that it was Forest-walker, and made some outrageous stories about him.

I don't remember if we slept that night, sometimes we did, sometimes we didn't. But, the next morning, after we had walked about 100 yards out of the woods, someone turned around and noticed Forest-walker standing at the edge of the trees. We all saw him.

I can't actually remember anything creepy happening to me, but my sister has told me about this one time as a child when she was with my father out on the bog, and him cutting turf. She says she saw some guy who smiled at her, and when she turned to ask my dad he asked who she was talking about - there was no-one there. Childish fantasy perhaps, but she was freaked out about it.

Once, mk and gq came to visit us in NC. My wife, daughter and I took them to the Life and Sciences museum. We got there about 20 minutes prior to the museum opening. To kill time, we went across the street to a pavilion and walked around. As we were walking back to the museum, a small asian man walking two Dachshund's was walking towards us. His face was covered in a white cream and he appeared to be sweating. We didn't think much of him until he abruptly started running very quickly towards my wife and infant daughter. As mk and I turned to see the commotion, the man changed course just prior to reaching my wife. We noticed then that in his hands he held a knife. It was as if he intended to do harm but then at the last minute thought better of it.

We quickly went back to the Museum and I found a security guard and notified him of the situation.

We were lucky nothing bad happened. It was scary and certainly creepy.

How did that not come to mind? That was a very disturbing moment. :/

I forgot to mention the part where you disarmed the man, and fell him with a swift round house kick. It's okay that I let Hubski know that you're really a ninja, right?

Very disturbing moment. Glad everyone is alright. It really empathized to me how in an instant, things could go very, very wrong.

I'm gonna guess it looked something like this (around 0:50).

Awesome! When it Seagalls, it pours. I was just talking in another forum about how Steven Seagall ruined Kelly LeBrock.

As for mk's abilities, it was more like this (around 1:56) --shit lasted a while...

Yes! Bloodsport is my favorite Van Damme, but I went with the Kickboxer movie poster for my home gym because its a lot cooler.

Bad ass poster! I must have watched Bloodsport a 100 times as a kid --no exaggeration. Even watching this short clip brings back a lot of memories of re-enacting the fights with my brother. But it also sheds light on what horrible acting/story telling it really is. I had no idea as a kid.

I recall being very proud when I immediately realized that "Ray Jackson" was Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds. -Another movie I watched a LOT as a kid.

Nothing personal to report, but perhaps, being interested in creppy things, you've heard of Marble Hornets?

Don't watch it at night.
