Love the 3 pane UI much better but would you consider using a San-serif font as they are a lot easier to read on screen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sans-serif

I also noticed that the [text] [video] labels take up a whole line about 30 lines or so on the front page. If you replaced these with an icon on the right it would save a lot of space or you could have a corner ribbon for picture text video link etc.

:-)

Thanks.

Well, I did go with Helvetica.

I have been playing around with borders around each post, but have yet to find something that looks right to me. I did find that adding an outer border with a muted background does help guide the eye some.

I'll continue to work on this.

I noticed the borders around each post had disappeared and thought I had gone insane.

Looking forward to it

I'm going back and forth on whether I like the new UI. On the one hand it is cleaner, in its way, than the previous list. And it certainly sets Hubski apart from Hacker News and Reddit.

But it's also really busy and a little overwhelming to my eye. I find it a little difficult to focus in on any particular link, or to decide on a reading pattern. I wind up bouncing all over the page in a very ADD fashion.

I'm getting used to it and it's nice being able to see that many more links at once. But I'm still on the fence all told.

Thanks.

The title font is something that I kept going back and forth on. it wouldn't take too much to convince me to go the other way. I'm curious what other people think.

I agree about the [text] [image] and [video] labels. There's an opportunity to do something more interesting there. Icons might be the way to go.

I hope you choose san-serif as for the font can't go wrong with Helvetica some background reading http://www.kathymarks.com/archives/2006/11/best_fonts_for_th...

I agree with a font change. I'm not sure which though.
