A few days back, there was a thread on the Golden Gate Bridge due to the 75th anniversary. It dawned on me that I've not walked across the bridge in forever and a day. So I decided to do it today. I could not have chosen a better day to make the trek. Just an absolutely gorgeous day in San Francisco. Here are some pictures for those who are interested.
Anyone interested in guessing how long it took me to walk across and back (total 3.4 miles 5.4km)? The closest guess by the end of the day gets a badge.

You're right. I took a few extra minutes at certain points to enjoy the view, snap a picture or two for myself, and be a helpful local by helping tourists do group pictures. The trek took me 1:19:35 according to the stopwatch app. Have a badge.

It has been forever since I've visited. I really should take more advantage of all the natural beauty offered here in the SF Bay Area.

Yeah. I always loved having friends visit from out of town there because you get to do all the touristy stuff which is still fun even if you're a resident. The headlands was almost always one of the places I would take people. Thanks for the pics!
