Using newts, coyotes and mice, Jason Munshi-South shows how animals develop genetic differences in evolution, even within an urban city. (Launching a series on Awesome Nature)

I'm in the city right now and it's so difficult to imagine a coyote anywhere near this place. But then, it's easy to forget how vast Central Park is. Such an amazing attribute to the city. I just went for a run through the park. A beautiful day here, though I didn't see any salamanders or coyotes :)

Inwood Hill Park is also massive and huge. It was one of my favorite places to go when I needed to really escape the city.

I wish I had more time to explore while I'm here. Next time I'm in town, I'm headed to Inwood Hill Park. Thanks.
