My sister and her family are in town visiting for the holiday weekend. We are going to sit around a fire tonight drinking margaritas while the kids snooze.
Do you have any plans for this weekend?
Are you traveling?
New love interests are the best kind of love interests. Sorry old love interests, but it's true. Hope you get a hole in one. -no, that wasn't meant as a double entendres.
How did you fare on the SAT scores? Must have been alright or it wouldn't be "good news."
Plans: Graduate from college. Try not to cry that much. Go home. Try not to have a mental collapse.
I have to disagree, pretty staunchly. ButterflyEffect, Everyone has rough times, but the year I left the University of Montana was rough. I was a mess in so many ways. I was ill equipped to handle the emotional gravity of things that happened to me in college, I had no real plan of what I wanted to do with my life and it seemed that every "adult" seemed to think I should know. What a fucking dick thing for adults to do to a young man/woman. I would never presume that someone at that age (or any age) should have a roadmap for their life. The first person I ever met that really seemed to have a "roadmap" was my wife. I was so perplexed by her tunnel vision drive that it nearly broke up the relationship. I digress. Cry dude. It's fine. Don't go full mental collapse, but definitely cry. Celebrate too!! Congrats pal. You're a damn smart guy and you're going to be just fine. Cheers!! end ramble
That's why I feel this way, because life has been great as of late and that's all going away.
It's hard to agree with that when my opinion of life is that everything ends like this just without the kissing:
lil' tip for that margarita: use a blender for the mix and pour over ice. blending will soften the texture, make it smoother, look better, and will bring out the flavors. old gratzi trick.
I have to agree. Sorry sounds_sound. Our margaritas are served either up or on the rocks. I prefer up.
You and cgod got me all wrong. I said pour over ice. Blending is for tourists, kids, old ladies, and old ladies cats. You blend ONLY the liquids then pour over ice. This ain't corn dogs on sunday people. I was a bartender for 3 years, a server for 5 years, and a heavy drinker for over a decade - I'm know what I'm doing. Bonus points if you use tamarind and then rim with sea salt and chile powder.
Forgive me for doubting you pal. I'll buy you a margarita in two weeks when I'm in Vancouver as recompense.
The one ingredient I didn't have? Ice. Apparently the ice trays are being washed. Doh!
